…hi…I had the pleasure of meeting Arnel backstage at the concert in Saratoga Springs, NY. He was so nice, posing for photos, answering questions, just a regular guy…and his smile…ahhh… can’t wait to see this film when it is finished!

Enjoyed the trailer. Journey is an awesome band. Arnel seems very, very humble. I’ll definitely see this film. By the way, you may want to correct the spelling of alcohol.

this film should be available worldwide. i live in Australia and find it difficult to get the journey cd, dvd and now this documentary on film/dvd? if on film, would there be a film disributor for australia?
i am big fan of journey and arnel. i’m looking forward to watching this.

Although I am a R&B fan, I love Journey’s music, particularly “Don’t stop Believing”.
Now when it comes to Arnel….well, I believe God had a hand in “Arnel’s journey”. God blessed the group in their search as well as for a better life for Arnel. I look forward to the movie.

I am a Journey fan since then and with Arnel’s inclusion, I love the band even more. Thanks to you guys for inspiring me, a day isn’t complete without listening to your songs and I will forever do it because I chose to be inspired everyday.
I can’t wait to see the entire movie. Congratulations to all the people involved in Everyman’s Journey most especially to Ms. Ramona Diaz whose credibility as a filmmaker is undeniably excellent. The trailer alone is really impressive and it made me too excited to watch the film come 2010.

cant believe his story as well as JOURNEY”s history — they have done amazing things over the decades — im old enough to tesitfy to that — SUPERJAM at St. Louis Busch Stadium — ect/ and saw Amel at the Verizon Theatre last year — diffrent — ( younger )

Ive been a Journey fan since 1973 and I had the good fortune of meeting Arnel in person and the BIG BOYS at the Baltimore concert in Sept. 2009. This film is a great idea!
I hope the film will feature the song Turn Down The World Tonight while showing the band members’ family life and their quiet time away from the crowd with their loved ones. It will be good to hear and see their loved ones talking about their journey with their partner….it is an eye-opener too for fans to understand what it takes to be with someone famous

Just read Arnel’s story…wow! Dreams really do come true. As for how long this will last, I guess we will just have to be thankful for the time Arnel feels he can give and how long you guys want to keep going. I was disappointed to read that there are some racial fans out there, when are we (the world) going to get over this? He is amazing and you can see that he really has heart.
I am so looking forward to this movie, I have been a journey fan for many, many years. As far as everyone comparing Arnel to Steve Perry the fact is he is not Perry. Do not get me wrong, I am still of fan of Perry’s however, Arnel has his own soulful style and what a voice! Continued good luck to all of you.

Amen. AP & SP are not the same. They both have similar voices in that AP sings with the same passion SP did but with different strengths. They both have their own impressive styles.

Hello there, just a couple of questions. Are you going to enter this film in any film festival? It would be great if you can i.e. Cannes, Sundance or Toronto. Hello Rick – Yes- that is definitely the plan – we would like to finish it in 2010 in enough time to enter to Sundance. So cross your fingers – as most people know – it has always been a funding issue. We have put up all our own money for get it “in the can” But Post is very expensive, and we are actively seeking funding to finish this. We will keep you posted!!! Thanks for your interest.

While I really do appreciate the rags to riches story Mr. Pineda has encountered with becoming the newest lead singer of Journey, I wonder if anyone has ever stopped to think about whether Steve Perry´s life and experience with the band would make for a great movie, too. They way he was given an ultimatum by his band members to either go on tour with them or be replaced when he was facing invasive hip surgery and months of physical therapy and recovery is sickening. To add insult to injury, the band decides to move on without Steve Perry AND continue to call it Journey. I find this to be truly heartbreaking for Mr. Perry, considering the songs Mr. Pineda is currently singing and finding financial success from were written by Mr. Perry. There is much to say about a man who was backed up against the wall by his band mates, then replaced by them because he would not go on tour due a personal decision only Mr. Perry himself was entitled to make and who now has to hear how another man is reaping the benefits of the songs he wrote long ago. I don´t wish Mr. Pineda any ill, but I believe it´s very unfair how he is getting all the attention over songs that were written decades ago by another man with great musical vision, creativeness and precision who had nothing less but a longing to share his music with the world. Steve Perry, you will always be remembered for your amazing voice and even though Journey has moved on with you, there are some of us who believe it won´t ever be the same without you. You are loved and missed in the music world. Godspeed.

To SP_ JRNY – Your comment above tells of one side of the story, i.e. SP’s. There were other stories coming from the other Journey band-mates which shed a different light, and that’s what majority of the old and true Journey fans favorably inclined to believe.
Now, your statement that “SP wrote the songs” is NOT true. He “co-wrote” the songs is more appropriate. Journey was Journey before SP. Also, Journey is a band and for that reason, any band mate can be replaced for the sake of the band; and it was a group decision to replace SP with Steve Augeri and then later with Jeff Scott Soto. Ross Valorie was fired by SP. Manager Herbie Herbert was dropped by SP. Keyboardist Gregg Rolie left because of SP. And to satiate SP’s own growing ego, he ventured in a solo gig – you’re probably still holding on to his vinyl album.
The rags to riches story is just happenstance and really have nothing to do with Journey’s new resurgence in the music world. Take that story away and we’ll still have a great rock band led by a new (3rd replacement) singer from another country. Again, it was a group decision to hire Arnel as their latest lead vocalist. It is so unfair to paint him like a malevolent character and fame snatcher when all he did was do a splendid job that he was asked to do.
SP was great. He had his moment with Journey. He had his own rags to riches story and thousands of fans who still love him – no question. And like you said – SP will always be remembered for his amazing voice and some will still believe that Journey will never be the same without SP. Allow me to add also that Journey is not the same without Jeff Scott Soto. Journey is not the same without Steve Augeri, not the same without Gregg Rolie, etc. ect. The point is – nothing will ever be the same! But this new Journey have a fresh set of fans who never heard of SP and can only relate to this new Revelation of Journey. It’s such a great joy that these new fans appreciate the old Journey tunes amidst the myriad of pop songs and other genres. It would be such a disgrace to deprive them of their own moment in time with their own Journey with Arnel Pineda as the lead singer. Let them create their own memories of Journey with their MP3s, MP4s, MOVs, jpegs, DVDs, CDs, fls, etc. The era of vinyls and tapes have long been gone, written in the annals of history. Give us the freedom to enjoy our own journey. —kidstud
